140. I liked to explore how heavy music could sound. It doesn’t appeal to everyone but it speaks to some. God always wants to speak to all parts of itself.
141. Being a popular musician was great, but the celebrity aspect was the pits. I wanted to shake people and tell them, “I’m not the one doing this. Leave me alone.” I knew.
142. It’s fun to challenge people, even scare them. It’s a chance for them to question why they’re afraid of sounds or imagery.
