287. Yes, children should be taught to respect their elders but the elders should also respect children too. It goes both ways.
288. Children should never be harmed in any way, shape, or form.
289. Children will never like consequences for their behavior, but those consequences should only encourage better choices next time. Eventually a child who receives consequences will be grateful for them.
